One of my favourites was free lunches here in TO where the company paid to get in front of us with their latest investor presentations...just to get us to think about investing in the comnpany or getting us to help spread the news.
It also tries to support the price for fund raising\share issuance purposes but that always runs into the reality of the situation
Contract and client wins .... that will get people excited enough to line up to buy. Today you are buying the "Powerpoint" version....the story, the promise.
