RE:Events ;Rockit, what scares me away from Futures type of investments is the degradation due to time. Futures all have expiries and as such losses mount the closer you get to the contract expiry. Of course you are not investing on individual contracts but the fund deals in them. Just look at the historical chart . It all goes to zero eventually. If you can decipline yourself to get in and out quickly then hats off to you. Myself I find it hard to cut losses early. I would rather directly trade and option with an exercise date I am comfortable with.
