NWT Mineral act changes ….CBC North

NWT Mineral act changes ….CBC North

Interesting.....fear mongers can play this how they may like but the bottom line is that FN in the north recognise where there $$ and socio economic future is and much of that future is with mining
development. The significant concern by FN, of the loss of some diamond mines is tell tale but the life of those mines was also very known from the onset.

new projects are needed and needed very quickly at the same time the standard for IBAs has been set and it works as is. What these change's could do is guarantee and be a catalyst to additional federal funding with FN participation in projects going forward as FN involvement will be entrenched. The GNWT has no money but the Feds do and I think this is a way to help secure Fed $$ thru to FN to help get projects going.

no question RGs thinking cap will be on as it may be a way to tap into new funds as he is all about any funding to keep the dream alive.

no matter how we look at it Tlicho will be involved in this Nico project.....better honey with bees, embrace it and move on, imo

we wait ....
