RE:Gut feeling - Corus survivesGood post toppgunn! Corus shareholders, forget the garbage that the fearmongers on this board have been spouting!
They aren't misguided. They just want your money when you sell!
Toppgunn, I fully expect this company to return to a more significant profitability as soon as you!
And I also believe that Quebcor feels the same way! But we know that Corus doesn't really need their potential takeover bid to survive! That's just nonsense!
Corus lenders have changed their minds about this company and are opening up their coffers wider as they also see a brighter future for this company!
https://financialpost.com/news/corus-entertainment-negotiates-amended-debt-deal If Quebcor or any other entertainment oriented entity like an Amazon wants to gain a greater entry to the Canadian market place then they are going to have to pay Corus shareholders, a lot of money! LOL
Is Corus going bankrupt? Hell no!
With that we may disagree! And so does anyone else with any common sense!
Potential shareholders, open your eyes! Cost cutting measures will soon take effect on the bottom line!
This innovative management team doesn't just sit back and do nothing when it gets knocked down by another commercial entity. They rebound smartly with their new production streams!
In 2025, more new shows are coming online! In this kind of business, competition will always remain fierce. But a good management team, then makes, even smarter, competitve moves!
Do your own due dilligence! It's readily available online!
I'm newly in at 16 cents which is really cheap! And I expect to make a lot of money with these shares which I have most astutely purchased!
Should we be worried about an October 15 deadline by the banks? Or should we wisely buy more before this better deal is finally consumated? Would the banks logically want to give Quebcor a mult-million dollar gift when they could get all of their principal back with just a little more patience and perhaps a little less interest from a loan?
Certainly not! These money lenders want to get all their capital back; not just some, much smaller, less significant amount!
And why would they choose to lead this company into bankruptcy? It makes no sense!
After all, interest rates are expected to fall a lot in Canada, very soon! The Bank of Canada is on the right track to go, quickly down in rates!
So it is most timely now to get the rest of your remaining cheaply trading Corus shares! Some untimely selling, still makes this possible!
The fear mongers on this board have been grabbing as many as they can!
And so have many others like me and any potential bidders for the company!
Maybe the so called short sellers will soon choose to step away? And when the price starts to move, they will have to buy back quickly any of their remaining short positions!
Keep all of this in mind! The better choice is clear!
All the best! Java
