RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:NSR Buy OutYou are simply a basher, and a part of the daily machinations that the Short Position uses to hold the share price of NFG down.
Many commentators have stated that NFG sto k is aggressively manipulated by the Short position. It's not debatable at this point.
I can only think of three reasons why the Short position is here.
One is that they are confident in their belief that they can continue to successfully hold the price down and COVER their short position at their discretion. They would believe that gold exploration firms have a long runway / time frame in developing into a producing mine, thus they have time to cover, possibly during future capital raises.
The second possibility is that the Short position receives fee income to keep the share price capped and under pressure by some Big Gold outfit for buy in / buy out purposes.
I think number one is most plausible, but number two is possible.
It also may be possible that they s8mply don't believe that NFG actually has a a very good gold deposit, and has too high a market cap, coupled with their belief that they have significant ability to control the stock price, allowing them to still get out of the Short position with profit if NFG proves them wrong with increasingly good evidence of a great deposit, just on NQW.
I think One plus elements of Three is most likely.
We are aware of the niche investment strategy in Canada of Shorting resource exploration stocks, and the theory of the LaSonde Curve, which keeps the share price of resource exploration firms under wraps..
Erich Sprott is having an investigation as to who the Short position is and shedding light on the manipulation.
