RE:Successful Intermine Prediction of FS outcomesThere is no reason why such a simple method, successfully tested against other deposits with known outcomes does not ball park the gold ounces for QWN main prospects.
Because FS grades are elevated relative to exploration Grades due to focussed definition drilling within the optimized pit, there is a tendency for the grade ratio to be biassed in favor of the Index proxies.
On the other hand , NFG grades are uncut for very high grades due to the Nuggett effect.
This would upward bias QWN grades .
I checked this out as a comparison of cut and uncut grades was available from the V Lake FS.
In general , removing anomalously high grades reduced the grade by about 12% .
On balance , as these biasses are in the same direction, the grade ratio for QWN is probably quite
decent.
Using such simple index extrapolations and their permutations, my estimates for gold resources of QWN prospects ( all categories ) tend to bounce are 20 million ounces .
To be conservative, divide by 2 and imo you still have a world class discovery within the shallow, mostly open pittable portions of QWN that is only yet in its early stages of full discovery .
