Benji, the more I'm digging in my DD, the more I think we did not get the best deal neither. As for Point-Rousse selling, I cannot say it was a bad deal for SGNL as Stoger' Tight was not a project to ensure the future of the complexe. MAE had Hammerdown and Orion to feed the mill. Moreover, there was a lot of dollars that would have been necessary to close the mine or keep it in care and maintenance.

Also, at the time they made the deal, the context was different regarding gold price and market. And  it's difficult to "dump" several millions of shares on the market without impacting the share price to lower levels when a stock has not enough liquidity.
