One million shares -- so that's one thousand thousand? Imagine a 1000 for one reverse split and you would end up with 1000 shares. Great eh!
I once owned one by the name of Briacell Therapeutics and they did a 300 for 1 reverse split when they were trading at 4 cents -- this was to get on the Nasdaq. The 4 cent shares became $12 and they did end up on Nasdaq. Trouble was my 30,000 shares became 100 shares. They took a quick run up to $25 before they turned around. I got out at $19 and salvaged a small bit of my original investment.
If you look them up today they are at $1.20 -- 1/10 of that reverse split of $12. It's U.S. bucks now but the difference is minimal at this stage. And this is at least 3 maybe 4 years later. This is just 1 of about 6 reverse splits I got stuck in over the last 4 years and they are all losers. i.e. I am not a fan of reverse splits.
