You’ve touched on several complex and controversial topics, and I don’t pretend to have the answers but fwiw, here’s my take.

• Trans Athletes in Sports: The inclusion of transgender athletes like Lia Thomas in women’s sports is a hotly debated issue. Some argue it advances inclusivity and equality, while others believe it may create unfair advantages. Many female athletes have expressed concerns about fairness and competitive balance.

• Gender-Affirming Care for Children: Another contentious issue for sure… proponents argue that gender-affirming care, including puberty blockers, can be crucial for the mental health and well-being of transgender youth. Critics worry about the long-term effects and believe more research is needed. The stance on this varies widely across different countries and no doubt, political landscapes.

• Pharmaceutical Companies: It’s true that Big Pharma can have significant influence due to their financial power and political donations. However, the motivations behind gender-affirming are complex and involve medical, psychological and social considerations, not just financial interests.

Btw, I have no hate for Republicans an/or Democrats in the US. From what I see and hear, you guys and gals have enough to spread around.
