Lithium also runs with uranium.

QUESTION ?
Why are some green phosphates / potassic geologies morphing and others not ?
= Acids, water other elements are needed for reaction.
= As pointed out above = they may not contain a potassium / uranium with in = to react.

Potassium can be green  ( several other colors too )
Phosphate can be green  ( several other colors too )

Green oxides ( pink redbeds nearby )
Granites or Feldspars

No distinct reaction / redox
Just green and pink

Think sandy green and pink dunes
Thick green sedimentry shales
No redox

Could the whites be a potassium white geology blend with the pinkish reds and greens ?
Could this be the smoking gun ( white potassium ) needed for a redox to reveal uranium ?
Water has a presence in this SA area.
