The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. It can also tip Canada into a technical recession because real gdp was propped up with massive immigration. Take away the population growth and then you're left with an economy that is unproductive on a per capita basis. Canada's government is more concerned about maximizing gdp to avoid the technical recession when instead they should have thought of the individual losing his purchasing power and with a declining standard of living.
