Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

RE:I THINK WE'RE ALL EPICALLY DISAPPOINTED.Fast forward from early to mid-March and I'm absolutely delighted. The recovery has been exceptionally good.  Not linear but but never is and the months following late June expecially were friuitful. With another 50 basis points of relief from BOC imminent (either  50 Dec 11 or over Dec/Jan, it will provide further tailwinds. At some point cap rate compresion will be favourable to NAV and we will see a strong recovery of REITs. Not to mention that office leasing continues to improve, refinancing is becoming less challenging and for lower rates, and distributors are generally quite sustainable going forward. You could retire tomorrow Gary if you really wanted to......
