RE:RE:Get up to speed Copper and its massive water requirementsThere are several blackbox in the mining circuit where ore first enters a wet process then exits into a dry process.
There is the need to control water/moisture within each step processing raw ore, wip ore and finished ore. Waiting to see what AXE, or AXE & IMII, or AXE & Cu comes up with.
i.e.
- Water added to prevent dust in the crushing/milling cycle, but then needs to be removed to move ore to next stage (need to minimize weight or the type of conveyer method used).
- Then moisture is removed/added for the purification step or multi steps.
- Then moisture is removed during the packaging / finishing steps. Less moisture here means lower transport cost, handling quality and product purity.
Generally, there are many dyers types and designs, but must be heavy duty to handle weight, corrosion, etc, These designs all dry while moving product
- rotary cylinder dryers
- conveyor belts
- centrifugal
These appear to be limited in size commonly seen to match similar dimensions as a train car.
These dry design probably will not change as far as AXE is concerned.
AXE will integrate where the existing
heating source enters the circuit/picture. Typical large scale boilers uses fuel/heat sources include
- Natural gas
- Cheap fuel oil
- Bio
- etc
CTI and its antenna will replace this part the heat method, fuel, and delivery method.
Game changers: AXE can heat over 800m in length. Imagine
(1) upgrading a convey belt moving product from point A to B (with no drying other than ambient air) with CTI / antenna 800m or 1200m , ore is drying while drying in transit. Adds efficiency to mining recipe.
(2) incorporating antenna into the length of a rotary cylindar, either embeded in the walls or along the central axis. Instead of a boiler heating air then piping it into one end of the rotary cylindar, the AXE design could be the entire cylindar. Super efficent compared to legacy.
Boilers can only throttle temperature so much, and not much ablility to regulate or turn on/off heat without losing much efficiency (therefore cost).
Game changer:
AXE CTI can set/regulate precise temperature at any point in the antenna and turn on/off or pulsating, reaching target temp at will.
Also AXE CTI is only targeting water and water's boiling point. Even if the EM energy finds its way affecting and heating up other elements within the raw / wip ore, the heat generated will by convection also helps raise water temp faster to its boiling point.
Another game changer would be to have smaller enclosures for convery belt or rotary that captures the vaporized water and simultaneously condense the vapour back to liquid water to be recycled into the mining circuit. AXE should be able to invoice more with this added feature .
