High-Grade Uranium Assays Up to 13% From Sun Dog

High-Grade Uranium Assays Up to 13% From Sun DogHigh-Grade Uranium Assays of Up to 13% U3O8 Received from Sun Dog Prospecting Program - Aero Energy (AERO.v AAUGF)

Today, Aero Energy (AERO.v AAUGF) reported surface assay results from the 2024 exploration program at the Sun Dog Uranium Project near Uranium City, Saskatchewan, which covers 48,443 acres across nine claims.

Key Updates:
  • Surface grab samples returned uranium concentrations up to 13.0% UO.
  • Anomalous radioactivity readings >65,535 cps at multiple target areas.
  • Drilling of 1,593 meters across eight holes identified anomalous radioactivity (>300 cps) in seven holes; assays are pending.

Wishbone Target Highlights:
  • Surface assays: Uranium ranging from 0.14% to 0.32% UO.
  • Extensive and highly prospective graphitic pelite outcrops associated with high radioactivity up to 22,300 cps.
  • Five kilometers of strike length along a regional-scale anticline.

Spring-Dome Target:
  • Uranium assays up to 13.0% UO and readings >65,535 cps at surface.
  • Known high-grade uranium showings south of historical drill sites with potential for significant discovery.

McNie Target:
  • Four kilometers of untested VTEM conductor zones.
  • Boulder assay returned 0.25% UO, with faulted corridors leading to past-producing uranium mines.

Next Steps:
  • Additional geophysics and drilling planned for 2025 to further explore and refine target areas.
  • Collaboration with Standard Uranium Ltd. continues under the existing option agreement.

Emphasizing the significant potential for high-grade basement-hosted uranium discoveries, Galen McNamara, AERO's Interim CEO, stated:
"The confirmation of uranium mineralization in graphitic pelite conductors at surface underscores our conviction in the potential for discovery of significant basement-hosted uranium zones akin to the large deposits in several other places around the Athabasca Basin. We look forward to continuing work at Sun Dog and Murmac with our exploration partners at Standard Uranium and Fortune Bay."
