A question...

A question...Do the Haida have to invest anything? Or just receive rent/royalities. They can still have the 25%+ minimum BC Hydro stipulates in their Power Call process.

But use a royality type of company. The windfarm developer and Oceanic/Elemental could then have a larger share of revenues and finance the upfront construction costs. I'm confident Elemental Energy could finance also, or they will find investors. Get that long-term EPA and go from there.

This then addresses the concern of raising money and paying interest charges which can move up. Financing concerns was one of the issues back in the 2010 power call.

Encourages a developer to have a larger share and maintain the windfarm long-term and not simply be a contractor for the project.
