Canada still gonna be in trouble when all of these mortgages in 2025 come good when people were locked in around 2%.  

I have two of my own mortgages locked in at 1.79 coming up in 11 months.   Either way it's gonna renew much higher than that.    Many  many people will have the same issues..  


 
 



That will increase the  inflation rate as more home owners renew their mortgage. The BoC uses mortgage interest when computing the "shelter" inflation component of the CPI or better yet, the CP lie. Contrary to the US which actually calls people up on the phone and asks them "how much do you think you can rent your house at for." It's a very antiquated way of computing the Owners Equivalent Rent part of the shelter inflation. This is why the numbers given is not reliable. 

Common sense is thrown out the window with these government statisticians.
