RE:Veren Inc. merger talks?

RE:Veren Inc. merger talks?

Source?  This talking point always comes up when 1/ VRN stock price has tanked; 2/ someone is bag holding position they are uncomfortable with; 3/ fearful the share price is heading lower.

Historically it's someone trying to create a speculative narrative, hoping they can exit into a temporary bounce.

Bryska and board will never sell their golden goose while it's still laying eggs.  I could be wrong, but I seem to recall Saxberg voting in a poison pill six or seven years ago during the Cation attempt to takeover the company.
