North American Financial 15 Split Corp. is a mutual fund corporation, which invests in a portfolio of over 15 financial services companies. It offers two types of shares, such as Preferred Shares and Class A Shares. Its investment objectives with respect to preferred shares are to provide holders of preferred shares with cumulative preferential monthly cash dividends, the amount of which is fixed on an annual basis and to pay the holders of the preferred shares a certain price per preferred share on or about the termination date. RE:Re Retraction i have the same view, the biggest risk i see is if the yield is lowered. they said in May that the target distribution is unchanged. but "target" to me means it can be lowered, but why would it be lowered? not clear, do they need to bank more cash reserves? does S Wayne Finch need a new megayacht?

because if they use cash to buy back units at nav  then it shouldnt matter. if they dont have enough cash they sell some underlying, not clear if or how that's done, some people here seem to know but I'm not that granular with all the "alchemy" that makes quadravest the opaque quadravest we all know.

In the case of PIC.a a month ago. they actually announced a much lower yield in advance, there was a big retraction 2 for 3 i think, many sold their shares expecting a post consildation crash and yet the post price did not come down, go figure
