The fund is being restructured so it would make sense for the A's to get paid again. The funds was 76% cash so the fund was most likely buying TD shares on the market and selling Prefs on the market.
One needs to remember, Quadravest collects more in fees IF the A's get paid, otherwise fees are only collected on the Prefs. As such, it is in their BEST interest to pay the A's too. I'm betting the distribution gets raised to .10 from .05 so the "intrinsic" value is maintained.
We'll see when the news is published.
