Tarrifs and bombardier aircraft delivery to USA

Tarrifs and bombardier aircraft delivery to USAIf Tarrifs does get imposed, then short-term, this will not impact bombardier delivery as buyers have already put deposits down and continue to make regular payments.  If buyers stop making payments then they run risks of losing the aircraft and deposits.  This alone will cover all of 2025 deliveries.

Imposing Tarrifs will need enforcement, and that requires a lot of planning and time.  With most of Bombardier aircraft content made in America, this will add complication on how to apply the tariffs.

Also there is a agreement among EU, Canada,
USA, Brazil to exclude aerospace parts from duty. Since we don't know the scope of tarrifs we dont know if aerospace will be included.  Keep in mind pratt Canada and Collins which make landing gear for 737, gulfstream, cessna are in Canada but is an American company.  This adds more complexity and will hurt American businesses.

Of course all these threat of Tarrifs can be avoided if our PM gains some common sense and strength our border with RCMP and border agent.  This will show Trump that Canada is doing something and Trump will boasts about it, but atleast we don't have Tarrifs.
