RE:Thoughts

RE:Thoughts

I Form a few simple reasons that I can see

One people love to jump on a negative trend and drive it down and that's been very apparent..

US 10 year yield has been rising steadily ( to much signalling not many more cuts to come potentially in the US ) unfortunately, this affects Canada and it should probably not, but it is so correlated that it does..

and I believe another big reason is just the last few months of tax loss, selling people getting rid of their losers and almost all reits this year are losers !!!

I agree and I believe many of these reits  are very very good prices at the moment.   And I have been buying a lot in the last few weeks..

this has been a very negative sector for what seems like forever.

It has to turn at some point.  ( we had enough cuts in Canada to turn the corner no question, but the market just seems to not care at the moment.

I think we'll get a nice uptick in the first quarter 2025.     Good luck

by when there's blood in the streets and there's blood in the streets on many of these names.. many I ve been buying at 5 year lows / lower then the Covid lows..

good luck
