The tarrifs may have been a factor in new bookings last quarter. But let's be serious, anyone buying a plane in late 2024 is looking at delivery in a couple of years. Very much doubt tarrifs will be an issue by then.
This weekend I was speaking with a fellow BBD investor in the US, who also happened to be in house council for a large firm who owned a business jet. He completely agreed there are many options around the tariffs like foreign subsidaries buying the jet. His firm alone has 11 offices and corporations outside the USA alone.
He would be the guy dealing with a potential new business jet purchase so that was comforting. With that said there would still be a shock factor if tariffs were announced to the stock, but long term it will bounce back as I believe the fundamentals are strong
I think we could expect some turbulence (pun intended) in the share price over the next few weeks
