RE:Speculative tradeCertain quotes I have heard on bond yields... "its overdone"  "its anticiapte alot of growth that may not happen" "there is a buyers strike"  "people waiting for inauggeration and policiy clarity"  "4.75% a yield that people are waiting to jump on."    Basically they have put on this 4 month trend trade that could reverse any second.  The US ten year bounced off 4.8% 3 times today.  My US reits finished green.  I have to assume Canada is just bad liquidity or something.
