RE:RE:Sell Off

RE:RE:Sell OffIt will.be interesting but heres my 2 cents.  Markets always take care of themselves.  Say oil is $100.  Will USA buyers pay $125 on day 1 when tarriffs goes on.  NOPE.  They will scramble and buy USA production until they cant buy anymore.  This will drive that USA price up but not 25% ..  maybe 10%. So now the demand market is $110.  Canadian producers now have to decide do we take the lower price, say $88 + 25% tarrif = $110. Bottom line Canadian producers will ultimately get less for their produce going to the USA.  Local and non-tarrif export marktes could net better numbers but its impossible to replace USA demand  that quickly if at all.  As l said it will be interesting and there will volatility in the world markets.  Most likely oil price should go up but that doesnt mean Canadian producers benifit from a higher world price given the depenancy on the USA market.  Comments welcome..
