RE:Every...2024: In the first seven months, China imported 10.90 million bpd, a decrease from the same period in 2023.

They finished the year with 11.04. The final 5 months were above 2023 averages to get that boost. You can do the math.

Remembering that 2023 was an ALL TIME record for China Oil imports and this is in what is considered a down Chineese economy. 

Are you sure that Chineese Oil demand is actually weakening?
