Question for those who have worked with pipelines...What are the implications if the flow of oil in hundreds of miles of pipeline is halted and temperatures dip to -30C or below? How hard is it to restart the flow if oil in the pipes drops to very low temp?
Honest quesion... I have no clue. Would they need to empty the line before halting?
One thing's for certain, it sure wouldn't be hard for Kinew to muster up an indigenous protest on the main line and refuse to intervene by having protestors removed.
