If People Accelerate Maintenance and Oil Production Falls?

What do you think if Oil Companies accelerate Maintenance and production falls, do you think Trump will be waving the Tarrif Flag regarding oil and gas for very long. 

Trump likely does not realize the steep deciline rates, and how heavy oil needs condensate to flow that comes from the USA. 

Oil and gas tarrifs will be a nightmare.

                                                                                                            Trump can't acheive energy security with Tarrifs on Oil and Gas, in fact he could introduce a lot of instability into the market place. 

Companies will accelerate maintenance,  slow down capital programs, and likely stop share buybacks. 

An attack on the Canadian energy space will likely blow up on him.
