RE:Wtf?

RE:Wtf?Obviously the best time to own the stock was Jan 2019 to Jan 2021. ($13-45)  Since then the overall trend is down.($45-20)  But the company has been doing much better than the stock.  Growth has accelerated. Holdings in wind and solar but also in hydro and even nuclear since the purchase (with Cameco) of Westinghouse. Trump has visceral hatred of wind, but solar and wind energy are actually cheap. And the world is thirsty for energy of all kinds.  The world will not dump wind and solar, though wind may slow in growth. Solar will continue to be strong, refurbishing older solar will be part of that. Output can be increased without new land or connections. BEP well positioned in all aspects and has ready access to huge capital. Also makes money from buying projects in development, getting them onstream, and then selling them at multiples of purchase price. They have long term contracts on their power output with inflation riders. They pay a 6.8% dividend and are poised to raise the dividend 5-10% each year for next 5 years. I am willing to collect my dividends and I have some confidence that the period from Jan 2025 -Jan 2029 will be  a lot better in terms of share price than the last 4 years.
