But the global fumed silica market today is estimated at less than USD$2 billion.  So why does Toolman use USD$8 billion?  

Don't get me wrong, HPQ capturing even a couple of percent of the existing market would be big for a small company but just wondering why math is being posted and reposted as food for thought when it is based on ingredients that don't exist.  BCONT, any original analysis and dd or just like to repost others' stuff only when it sounds great?  TIA.
