Stampede

Stampede
Stampede (Helios) closed a $100mm investment in AOI 10 years ago at C$2.31, so after a very long holding period they have decided to reduce or sell out their interest.  Adding in the relative change in control pending with BTG, why is it an issue they may be liquidating ?

Bartlett is the Helios oil&gas partner, and their nominee to the BOD, so depending on the Helios/AOI agreement, and perhaps the BTG/AOI agreement, Bartlett may be leaving the BOD, which would be a reasonable reason to sell or reduce this holdings.

According to the Globe & Mail ( https://www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/markets/stocks/AOI-T/insiders/ ) Tuckers last transaction was a purchase in September.  As for the other block sales on this table, my assumption is that AOI buybacks are not in 100 share retail lots.

If your worried, sell !  I am the camp that this is the time to buy.
