Wow go figure the Bomber moves higher with a lower Ebita... Bombardier missed its target for jet deliveries in 2024. CIBC's Kevin Chiang says that according to data from Aviation Week, the Canadian business jet manufacturer delivered 144 units in 2024 compared with the bank's expectations of 152 and the company's own guidance of between 150-155. This may pose a risk to the company's earnings in 2024, Chiang says, particularly the likelihood of reaching its Ebitda target. The jet deliveries miss could also jeopardize Bombardier reaching its 2025 free cash flow target. While the analyst acknowledges that potential U.S. tariffs could dent Canadian exports through order activity, "on balance we maintain a favorable view on the company."
