Libero Copper Unveils Impressive Results at Mocoa Project
LBC.V marks a significant breakthrough with the first hole of its extensive 14,000m drilling campaign at the Mocoa project. Here’s what investors need to know:
Market Cap $17M, Hole MD-044 reveals extensive continuous mineralization:
* Total Length: 1,141 meters grading 0.46% CuEq* from surface to EOH.
* High-Grade Segments: Includes a 542-meter section averaging 0.69% CuEq* and a 389-meter section grading 0.76% CuEq*.
The results expand the high-grade core zone deeper and bridge a gap between two major zones, enhancing the geological understanding and potential scale of the Mocoa deposit.
Newly identified diorite-porphyry unit and evidence of a complex hydrothermal system suggest significant potential for resource growth and invite further exploratory drilling. The drilling campaign continues to advance with the start of MD-045, the second hole of the 14,000-metre resource expansion drilling program at the Mocoa porphyry deposit. As of January 13, 2025, the hole has reached a depth of 250 metres towards its target depth, MD-045 is designed with a target depth of 1,200m.
