VRN is my biggest holding and I am optimistic that it will perform very well.  So I agree with Eric Nuttalls positive take on VRN and the market environment.  But I also hold a fairly small position in BTE.  I hang onto BTE in the hopes that they will start performing much better like what Eric N has been saying, but I don't really believe it.  Bte has too much debt, too many outstanding shares, and their main property is in a basin that doesn't have much track ahead of it IMO.  I don't really see BTE the same way as Eric N, and I don't know why he has been so high on this stock.

VRN also has a lot of debt and fairly high share count, but not nearly in as bad of a position in this regard  as BTE I think.  Also VRN has excellent prospects to focus on to maintain and grow production for many years.  Just have to be patient with VRN and the financial results will show up in time.
