$16.20, up 25 cents
Shares of Finning International Inc. climbed to a 52-week high
yesterday, one day after the company that sells, finances and services
Caterpillar equipment reported that its first-quarter profit increased
29.8 per cent to $17.3-million from the year-earlier's $13.4-million.
Analysts reacted to the news by raising their price targets. The new
12-month targets seem to range between $19 and $21. And at least one
analyst also raised his recommendation on Finning to "strong buy" from
"buy." At the beginning of the year, Finning shares were going for
$12.70 and last October, they could be had for under $10.
