Complicated

ComplicatedIveson, nice calcs on the warrants. This deal, however is extremely complicated from a financial point of view as pointed out in saturdays Globe and Mail.Just think about it; there are 4 separate co's involved ( including Anglo) located in 4 separate countries hence 4 different currencies , the POG at any given time plus now the activities of the arbitrageurs whcih further complicates matters. The NEM offer when it was made was obviously superior to Anglo's however now that Anglo share price has increased and NEM's has decreased they are virtually identical. The irony in this though, is that Anglo's share price increased because it was felt that it was not going to succeed in bidding for Normandy while that very increase has now made it somewhat more likely to succeed. All this has my head spinning but mu gut feeling tells me that NEM will eventually win and ergo FN shareholders also. Yachtie.
