Denison Mines Corp. is a Canada-based uranium exploration and development company focused on the Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan, Canada. The Company holds a 95% interest in the Wheeler River Project, which is a uranium project. It hosts two uranium deposits: Phoenix and Gryphon. It is located along the eastern edge of the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan. It holds a 22.5% ownership interest in the McClean Lake joint venture (MLJV), which includes several uranium deposits and the McClean Lake uranium mill. It also holds a 25.17% interest in the Midwest Main and Midwest A deposits, and a 67.41% interest in the Tthe Heldeth Tue (THT) and Huskie deposits on the Waterbury Lake property. The Company, through JCU (Canada) Exploration Company, Limited, holds indirect interests in the Millennium project, the Kiggavik project, and the Christie Lake project. It also offers environmental services. The Company also uses MaxPERF drilling tool technology and systems.

TSX VENTURE SYMBOL: DML OTC Bulletin Board SYMBOL: DNNMF FRANKFURT SYMBOL: DNL August 29, 2002 Donner Minerals Ltd.: SVB Project Update VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Further to the news release dated August 16, 2002, Mr. Harvey Keats, President of Donner Minerals Ltd., reports that five holes have now been completed on the South Voisey Bay Project. The assays received to date for the fifth hole (SVB-02-141) are included in the attached table. No additional assays for holes two through four have been received at this time. SVB-02-141 located on the South Gabbro, was drilled to a total depth of 375.0 metres and intersected the base of the gabbro at 282.1 metres. Numerous semi-massive to massive sulphide veins were intersected between 245.9 and 284.4 metres. The veins are hosted by serpentized ultramafic and quartzite. Selected veins were assayed on a priority basis and nickel grades are less than 1%. Falconbridge is currently reviewing and interpreting all of the results to date and drilling on the project has been suspended. Falconbridge will decide shortly whether to carry out additional field work this season, or to resume geophysics and drilling in 2003. The 2002 exploration program is being carried out and funded by Falconbridge Limited under an agreement whereby Falconbridge can earn a 50% interest in the South Voisey Bay Project. All holes drilled this season have been drilled on the South Gabbro on SVB Nickel Company Ltd. ("SVBN") ground. The ownership of SVBN is as follows: Donner Minerals Ltd. 76.69%; Cypress Development Corp. 11.36%; NDT Ventures Ltd. 6.55%; UC Resources Ltd. 5.40%. In addition to the above, geology and geophysics have been carried out on joint venture ground held by Donner/Northern Abitibi Mining Corp., Donner/Commander Resources Ltd. and SVBN/Pallaum Minerals Ltd.
