Let's remember how light the volume is in the market these days, and the investor strategy has made way for swing traders and news traders. I agree with your watch of the short positions but looking at the big picture, with the risk now removed from this stock the more conservative mutual funds may find this stock within it's scope of investment.... even without major institutional buying this stock still shows a better long term value... (especially more than any mid east pharmaceutical stock with reverse split written all over it)
Also, mainstream investors have not yet discovered the potential of Canadian Diamond plays, this will change within a year.... and the Can/US exchange rate is going to be much more favourable once the full disclosure of the US debt is made public.
In the mean time, my personal strategy in this sector is to dump profits from the juniors and tier 1's into ABER. It works for me,
it may not work for others.... and is definitely over the head of any name calling wannabe short sellers.
