We're still out here.

We're still out here. Not much talk about GXR these days, IMO because everyone's waiting for news. It's a lot like waiting for Godot. IR at Goldtex can't say when news will come - meaning Yemen. On the other hand, they seem confident that we'll hear something before the end of October. It all depends on Mr. Fipke. Progress is being made in Yemen, according to GXR's IR team. Exploration has become very focussed and drilling may begin at the end of October or early November. This would be good news, indeed. When, though, will the company choose to release it? I've let my views on the slow pace of news be known - to no avail, apparently. Maybe I - and others - have been barking up the wrong tree: maybe we should be talking to CYM. After all, they hold the majority interest in the project - in theory at least. I note that CYM's share price has not come under the same pressures as GXR's of recent. Maybe there's some complacency there - or to put it another way, a lack of any sense of urgency. Well, I hope this week is a good one for GXR, despite the Swiss.
