RE: Thats the risk you take.......in sellingAs infantile as it sounds, selling half your stocks when the price doubles has worked well for me in the past . Then you are left with free shares and it's hard to complain about that.
Wasn't there a wise old investor who said: "sell half at double, sell all at triple." Of course you give up any potential ten-baggers.
For those really conservative investors I've been told to sell at 25% up or 7% down so you are never at risk.
Then there are calculated risk types. I guess this where I have ended up and in a Bull Market it seems to be the best move I have made.
I follow ARQ, ER, ITS, TIW, IFT, MAG, TKO and have made significant profits.
