ccI thought the cc was decidedly "forced optimism". Management got rather cranky with the last "analyst" who asked the most pointed question of the group (Bob). They seemed quite defensive about hpdi. If you remember, Demers confidently stated a couple of years ago that hpdi would succeed regardless of government incentives. Now he clearly states that they are necessary. Its a matter of the market not being as receptive to the hpdi concept as WPT originally hoped. Reasons unknown but likely a combination of cost and trepidation of a new technology. Revenue from spark has to rise to keep the dream alive until they can hopefully develope a market, which is exactly what they have to do. I agree with wa that the whole spark market was one that just wasn't that exciting for cum but they needed to have something in play. WPT as a hpdi company is currently dead unless one of the other oem's surprises us that "big" announcement. I think that is currently unlikely given Cum's reluctance.
Critical scrutiny is essential, I'm not sure why you guys spend so much time responding those extreme bulls (hitters) and bashers The potential exists for some good dialoge with some of the current posters.
