In late-2003, local prospectors discovered 15 mineralized boulders. Four of the boulders returned values of 9.7, 9.9, 19 and 34 g/t gold (0.3 to 1 oz/t) and eleven boulders contained from 0.5 to 7.6 g/t gold. The boulder field, covering an area 700 m long by 300 m wide, is located at the junction of three major faults in an area that has not been well prospected in the past. Visible gold has been observed in several of the boulders. The Harriman property is located 15 Kms northeast of the town of New- Richmond in the Gaspe Peninsula and is accessible by a series of forestry roads. The property consists of 134 claims covering 70 square Kms. The acquisition and assembly of the Harriman property by Ressources Appalaches was performed under the terms of an agreement with the prospecting group 'Fonds minier de la Gaspesie (FRAPMGIM)'.
