RE: 49ccs

RE: 49ccs"The reputation of AXX and their inability to attract business and work with people...." Finances aside, I believe this is at the core of their current troubles. Within tech and telecommunication circles, Axia is generally viewed as arrogant, inflexible and out of touch with the real world. While top people such as the former Cisco Canada chief (who moved to the US last year) are politically discreet in their public appraisal of Axia and senior management's performance, other people at Cisco and HP who actually worked in the trenches with the Supernet team are somewhat more critical. And current and former Bell people positively froth at the mouth at the mere mention of Axia, deriding them at any opportunity, to anyone who will listen. The net effect - in Canada, at least - is a serious impairment of Axia's ability to get anybody to listen any more, much less take them seriously. If this bad blood has spilled over in significant quantities to France and Australia, it will kill their chances there as well. At this point, I'd estimate their overall chances of success at 50-50 in France and 80-20 against in Australia. Long shots to be sure, but because I've already lost most of my stake, enough for me to justify holding out for a few more months.
