Cantex Mine Development Corp V.CD

Alternate Symbol(s):  CTXDF

Cantex Mine Development Corp. is an exploration stage company. Its principal business activity is the exploration and development of mineral properties for commercial mineral deposits, and it is considered to be at the exploration stage. It is focused on its 100% owned 20,000-hectare (ha) North Rackla Project located about 150 kilometers (km) northeast of the town of Mayo in the Yukon Territory, Canada where high-grade massive sulphide mineralization has been discovered. Over 60,000 meters of drilling has defined high grade silver-lead-zinc-germanium mineralization over 2.3 km of strike length and 700 meters depth. It has a 100% interest in four mineral properties in Nevada. It has two projects in Yemen: Al Hariqah (Gold) and Al Masna (Nickel, Copper, Cobalt). The Al Hariqah is a near-surface gold deposit located about 130 km northwest of Sana’a, Yemen. The Al Masna’a nickel, copper, cobalt project is located in the Saadah region some 205 km north-northwest of the capital city, Sana’a.

RE: Update

RE: UpdateThanks for the update bandi10 on the Nevada situation. I agree that having multiple properties lined up for consecutive drilling makes ecoomical sense, however if you look at the quarter ending April 30th 2004 you will find that NO field work was conducted in the previous quarter (Nevada). You indicated that Chad mentioned that work is on going now so when did it start? After the financing closed? (Mid June?) My point here is obvious. Chuck could have continued the work here if he had the desire to advance things forward. I certainly compliment and recognize Chuck's financial committment to CD over the past couple of difficult years, including all other Director's/employees contribution and I believe with the latest debt settlements and awarded options they will be well compensated in the future. As for drilling in Yemen in September... I agree that this will be the case. It appears that the Yemeni government forces have now cornered the individual (LOL) they are looking for and I believe the government will take off the travel restrictions to the area. (Including where Al Masna is located). To answer your question on why I now prefer MTX over CD, please go back to one of my earlier postings and you will see the main reasons why. I submit that there will be significant deposits of economical worth proven up in Yemen at some point in the future, but I have decided to diversify some of my holdings. I will continue to keep a modest holding of CD for at least another year to see if management can move things forward, but in the end, the management has to perform.
