I would assume that Mr. Crow is very familiar with his company's land holdings. Why didn't he throw the rest into the pot to grab a bit more money and walk away?
Experience working in a mine has no or little relevance as there is currently is no mine on the property (at least none that I heard of).
What a classic move by Crowe if Copper Flats proves to lead Friedland to the remaining property owned by ETG or to specific aspect of the deal that Friedland has overlooked. Maybe that is why Crow didn't drill copper flats before the deal.
Your argument implies that Crowe has another motive or shouldn't have been negotiating at all. If this is the case, you should sell ETG and buy IVN, that way you will get 75% of the take. Your last statement seems to contradict this.
