RE: Conference call is worth listening too...$$$BS! The CC was more of the same...nothing. I credit kingthorpe for at least trying to get some straight answers until they got tired of it and rudely cut him off. The Maya is nowhere, not a high priority item. They want to get deeper into the laptop market when IBM is getting out as margins are too thin. They even say their laptop products are competively priced. Now that is priceless, but who cares since nobody knows they sell laptops anyway. They sounded scared and defensive to me, and I have heard many of the CCs. Of course they through around Defense contracts etc. to keep stringing us along but they also weasled with the "long lead time" qualifiers. Sankar says that they have the money to make it. Well, only if they increase sales exponentially will the money last and it may be too late. I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling from this CC.
