Based on the below I for one am glad ballard called the investment dated july 08 locking in a much better cash investment.
Am I wrong in seeing this move to the 12.34 min by Jan 05?? I cannot see the big guns paying 12.34 a share and it staying in the 8.00 area for long.

DaimlerChrysler will purchase 2,431,388 common shares of Ballard at $12.34 per share, for a total purchase price of $30-million. Ford will purchase 2,026,157 common shares of Ballard at $12.34 per share, for a total purchase price of $25-million. Under the memorandum of understanding between the parties dated July 8, 2004, if Ballard did not call the investment before year-end, the share price would have reset to market price. The transaction is expected to close the first week of January, 2005.
