What am I missing here?After waiting for over 2 years, we are finally drilling Copper flats, arguably one of the greatest speculative plays of all times. Sitting within a 7 iron, and on strike, of some of the richest copper holes pulled from the planet, this is what we all dream about.......Meanwhile, watching the stock trade is like watching paint dry.
This stock is behaving in a very unusual manner, and either GC is the very worst promotor in the world, or something is going on. My bet is that it's the latter.
Look at deals like V.SKY, where you can see back in Aug and Sept when they were drilling their deep, high-impact holes, the stock traded like crazy and had a huge run. Look at V.RUP, where they are drilling potential extensions to the famous Goldcorp Red Lake gold deposits, all the action and volume is all speculative as deep drill programs are underway. Yet with ETG, now that we finally drilling the CF anomalies, and the stock is drifitng down on thin volume. It just does not add up.
There are forces out there that are working to keep this deal low key, and our pres isn't exactly helping matters out with the astounding lack of promotion at this speculative juncture. It's not that I am hoping for a pump & dump either, as I have been here for a while, and I plan on getting at least my $5.00 worth. But there are a lot of unanswered questions;
-What happened to all the buying from Salman and Woodstone?
-Where did RBC come from?
-Did IVN exercise their warrants and double their shareholdings?
-Does and or is RF allowed to hold shares in ETG?
-Why did Cary Pinkowski come on board?
-Where is the mystery suitor? (If someone is offering up some good money in advance of drilling, we should take it before the drill results are in!)
-Why is the market so balanced? As I have market depth, I see that every time the bids build up, a similar and balanced stack of offers quickly offsets them.
The stock is being kept in a range, and is being kept very hush, hush. If anything, GC should be on a road trip pitching the story so that he can fatten up the kitty at higher levels as $7 million isn't much in the Mongolian dessert - IVN spends that in a few weeks. Why is GC nowhere to be heard from?
Regardless, all the above is bullish. Something big is going down here, and all long as we don't get shaken out of the tree, we should be amply rewarded.
All the above is of course just my sometimes off the wall opinion, but there is no question that there is some unusual stuff going on with this deal.
Hang in there longs, and keep nibbling away at these absurd levels should some cash become available.
