The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of its resource properties. Its project includes Piskanja. Piskanja is located in a historical mining region with infrastructure for mining, including roads, rail, electric power, experienced miners, and others. The site is situated 250 kilometers (km) south of Belgrade, Serbia, accessible by paved roads. Lithology at Piskanja is typical of sedimentary basins, primarily consisting of shales, marls, and limestone, with two primary gently undulating borate beds. The mineralization is primarily dense, compact colemanite with some ulexite. The Company’s subsidiary is Balkan Gold Corp.

SasaIt looks like Romtrade had a meeting last Thursday with the Prime Minister.I hope Tims meeting today goes just as well. Skopje, March 31 (MIA) - Macedonian Prime Minister Vlado Buckovski and representative of the company "Romtrade Ltd" Pavel Malinovski discussed Thursday the initiative for establishing an integral mining-steel producing business complex. Malinovski presented business plans for development of the "Sasa" and "Zletovo" mines if the company "Romtrade" became the best bidder. Buckovski welcomed the company's readiness to invest in Macedonia, saying that a realization of the business plans will boost the development of non-ferrous industry and affect on the social status of population in the areas where these mines are located. According to the business plans, "Romtrade" intends to invest US $ 26 million in the "Sasa" mine and employ up to 1,000 people. The investment in "Zletovo" mine is at US$ 3,7 plus a working capital of US$ 7,9 million. The plan includes an employment of about 1,000 people and several projects for solving the pollution problem in Veles, for which the company intends to allocate about US$ 30 million. In addition, the company intends to built new facilities for full processing of overall mine production in Macedonia.
