Private PlacementI'm not sure I understand your question but I believe that a private placement means that
the shares move from the company's treasury directly to the buyer(s) through the selling
agency. They would not show up in the daily trading through the exchange but would add
to the number of shares issued and outstanding once they are in the hands of the buyers.
If there are no trading restrictions included in the terms of the PP then the shares can be
traded as soon as they are issued. Someone with more knowledge might correct me on
this.
