RE: As I predicted...The Venezuelian government has not issued any draft laws or draft administrative regulations. Until it does, and they are duly adopted, nobody will have a clue about what Pres Chavez meant or his ability to carry out his wishes, or to ignore or to force changes in contracts. Chavez does not have dictatorial powers. All normal legal processes, including resort to the courts, are in place to protect legal and contract rights. My grandfather built a lot of infrastructure there, and my grandmother had many fond memories of their time there. Venezuela is not a scary, irrational, place.
